Well, hey there!

Welcome to my blog! Wanna know what one of my most favorite parts of being a photographer has been? It's seeing the reaction of those I photograph upon seeing the final results. The excitement and the joy... for once someone else can feel and understand the very same passion and excitement that I find for photography and art! And I hope that with this blog, those visiting it will be able to experience the same feeling of awe and joy that I feel as a photographer each and every time I take a photograph. Enjoy!

New Project!

So, for the first time, a fellow photographer (Kim Worthington) decided to ask complete strangers if we could take their photo in downtown Columbus area. It’s a project/exercise that I’ve seen many do on flickr, and it’s one I’ve said that I wanted to do for a couple years now. I’ve just never had the guts to… until now. It really teaches you to think on your feet as well as be creative, and hone your social skills.

Our first couple was AWESOME! Cody and Sonnet. They are both students at CSU, and although not a real couple, they were willing to play along and act as one for our photo project. Thanks guys! We loved your style and gung ho attitude to do what we asked! Hope you guys like these!

Our next couple was Michael and Michelle who were so great in front of the camera!! They have been married for six months and actually had their engagement shots taken around the same area a few blocks down. They each had stunning blue eyes and dark hair, and Michael would crack us up with his “sexy” poses. Haha. We loved how comfortable you guys were in front of the camera!! Hope you like em!
