No More School= <3

So I am officially out for the summer! I passed my dreadful Humanities class with an A(trust me, that was a huge and utter shock!)And I, hopefully await an acceptance letter into my radiology program! So much anticipation fills me! A trip to New York and Anguilla await me shortly and I can barely think about anything else... Also this upcoming weekend I'll be attending the 2009-2010 "Keep on the Watch" district convention of Jehovah's Witnesses! Expect to see pictures soon!I can hardly wait!

Did a photo shoot with Kiki. She was sooo nervous before we started shooting, but she did AMAZING :) Hope you like these :D

The Kendrick Family

I had a great time with this family! It was unbelievably hot, but we made it through with an outdoor fan, popsicles, and ice cold water :)
They had so much personality! The kids just loved the camera and the parents were willing to do anything :D Jumping, racing, laying in the grass... It was truly a privilege to photograph them :D

Sean

Had an awesome photo shoot with Sean some days ago! It was quite an adventure really Sean got pointers and how to act in front of the camera, I lost my shoes trying to go down a hill to get to the train tracks, and we had a quick break dancing lesson. It was really hot, but we had fun :)

Much Has Happened

Sorry for the delay, for those of you who have been checking for more updates. I've been extremely and utterly busy! During the course of the past week, the following things have happened:
-I've developed a pocket-emptying addiction to Starbuck's Caramel Frappuccino which is exactly $3.75 (that includes the tax).
-I suddenly have the desire to attend a fashion show... I completely blame flickr and its fashion photographers.
-I wrote a speech explaining why William Shakespeare could not have written any of the plays and sonnets he is credited with.
-I wrote an MLA research paper discussing the 3 ways that the Nile played a major role in the development of ancient Egyptian civilization.
-Watched a 2 video and learned CPR, but hope to never have to use it.
-Our car's engine overheated and got damaged, leaving us 1 car to drive.
-My dad ran over a nail with the other car and had to change the tire and have the tire realigned.
-3 of my best friends that I love beyond words and thank Jehovah for every day are moving :(
-USPS lost my new lens I ordered, and I will forever boycott them.
-I bought the lens I wanted for much cheaper!!!!!! 50mm 1.8f. YESSSSSSS!
-I did a photo shoot with an awesome family!

I haven't exactly had much time to take any pictures lately because of school. argh. Humanities class has got me running in circles and pulling my hair out. I've already kissed my 4.0 good-bye... and it hasn't even gone yet. poo. I've be trying to de-stress by watching trailers on youtube and mindless movies like "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "13 Going on 30"... haha. Now I await the chance to rent "Bride Wars."

If Flickr were a candy, it'd be a Life-Saver. Ba-da-dush. Lame, yes I know. But Flickr has been so good to me. I find a lot of inspiration and there are just times where I'm so awestruck that I just can't stop myself from searching for more opportunities to get awestruck.

Anyways, I've got some photo shoots scheduled for the near future, so watch out! And contact me if you need a photographer... because quite frankly, I need you (because my brother is a moody model. ha. jk.) But seriously, senior portraits, engagement sessions, family portraits, baby sessions, etc. I'm up for it!

To Whom It May Concern... AKA my AWESOME friends :D

I just gotta say how AWESOME my friends are! I already know that they are there for me to vent to, to cry on their shoulder, to laugh and play jokes on, for me to get built up spiritually by them, to talk about boys and life and people who have such audacity and whatever else may come to mind, to talk and trade college homework/exam complaints, to swap stories of when we were growing up, to share food with, to buy and share Chick-Fil-A French fries with at like 8:00 o’clock in the morning, for me to draw funny stick figures of them, to go out in early morning service, to be my guitar buddies, to eat at Daylight Donuts, to serenade with my wonderful *chuckle, chuckle* mesmerizing voice and mad guitar playing skills, to burn a million and one CD’s for each other, to introduce to new music to each other, to throw worms at, to come to for advice on anything and everything… and now, they have proven that they’ve got my back when it comes to something like this. I seriously didn’t think that I’d get this much support! I wasn’t quite serious about anything…And although things haven’t quite taken off yet… heck, even if they don’t, I still know that I have the BEST friends in the ENTIRE world!! Thanks Colbi, Shogo,Jessica, Alycia, Heather, and Rohit!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS SOOOO MUCH!

First Serious Photo Shoot!

Okay, so today, I did my first, serious photo shoot with two really good friends! I was really nervous #1 because I'd never done something like this before. #2 I was scared that I would do a horrible job. Amazingly, some really nice shots came out of the shoot. And I was able to learn a few things that I needed to work on.

Since when have I gotten so into photography?! I mean, I've always loved it, but I never thought I'd completely learn it, let alone come to understand it. But I really feel as if I'm getting there. Love it soooo much!!
